Slow RainFall in Karad ( 4th July 2001)
In Last week slow rainfall in the Karad. But continuous rainfall in Mahabaleshwar & Koyananagar area increased water-level of Krishna & Koyana rivers .

Due to rain the water-level of krishna is increased by 3 feet & water-level of Koyana river is increased  by 13 feet. 

Before two days the water-level of koyana river was 2067 feet. During these two days it increased up to 2081 feet water-level of Krishna is increased from 1 feet 5 inches to 4 feet 5 inches it's gainign os 3 feet . The capacity of Khodashi Dam is 6.50 footage, now dam is full & water-level gone up to 9.50 footage that's why water is overfloaded by Dam. 

Rain in this area is not up to mark yet. Till today 71.4milimeter rainfall is recorded & in koyana area it is 84.2 millimeter as records. The storage of Koyana Dam is 30.41 TMC .

Slowly in Koyana Area. Rainfall is increasing now the storage is 30.40 TMC, but to full the dam capacity there is more need 68.38 TMC water, now the Dam's  water-level is 633.15 meters, water level height 2077.25 feet, dept of water is 54.05 meter.
