Chawadi Chowk taking a new look ( 7th July 2001)
Road widening work is started at the road near Chawadi Chowk. Some shops near Historical Place 'Manora'  will be reconstructed with the Road Widening Plan.  
With the help of Merchants, Jumma Masjid Trust & Municipal Corporation these all shops were demolished by municipal corporation to make a new shopping complex at the same place. The ' Bhumipoojan' ceremony for the proposed complex is done by President of Municipal Corporation Jayavantrao Patil. This all construction work will be completed before this Diwali , which will bring a new glory to Chawadi Chowk
