Need of 18 TMC water to fulfill Koyana Dam(
18 th August 2001 )
In Koyana the water storage is 80.30 TMC but to fulfill the
dam more 18.48TMC water required.
In Satara Dist. Rainfall is lower than last years, but in Dam
Area it is upto satisfactory level, as in koyana-dam Area
419mm, in Kanher Dam area 184.10mm & in Dhom Dam Area
79.40mm& Navaja 72mm is extra than comparative to last
year's rainfall. During in Koyana Dam the water storage is
80.30TMC but to fulfill Dam more 18.48 TMC water required.
Water storage in Koyana Dam is 81.29 %,in Dhom 71.33 %, & at
Kanher 68.87 %.
In Satara, Jawali, Patan , Vai
& Mahabaleshwar comparatively more rainfall recorded with
last year's, but in eastern area Koregaon, Phaltan, Man, Khatav
, Khandala & Karad have least rainfall than last
year.Today's water level in Koyana Dam is 652.70 Meter,
2141.50feet, 80.30 TMC. In last 24 hours 75.50 mm rainfall &
till today 2830.55 is recorded.
